Rave 100

Icon Commission for and her Character Rave.

This was a long icon lol. I tried something a bit different, and did what I can to maximize the output of the icon.
She wanted her character to have her head bobbing and her hair swishing back and forth, maybe laughing or grinning, and this is what I came up with.

I first did single sketches for each piece that would move; I started with the base, added animation of the hair, added animation of the bow, and finally added animation of the ears.

I then made an outline animation combining all the pieces together in a cleaner piece.
The next step was adding the color for each piece, I started with the base again, then added the secondary colors; ignoring the hair for now. Then, on each separate layer I added in the glowing effects on her nose ring, earring and tongue ring. I've chosen the color orange for her tongue since the part of her muzzle was orange; then added a green glow to complement the orange.
Finally, I colored in the hair for each layer, and added the secondary highlights to that. The very last step was adding the rainbows in the bow.
Since there are so many colors in this icon, the size limit was over 15k, so I just added a transparent background to cut down on size so that it would be usable
